Be happy

BE HAPPY!

Does this sound familiar to you? Yes, we hear it all the time, and we think, that is not that simple. But it actually is simple.

It is all about being in the moment, take all that life is giving you. Even in a difficult situation, even then, you will find a shine of light.

We are so immersed in our lives, problems, and things to do, that we really don’t take time to be happy. Time for ourselves, time to smell the roses.

Happiness is found when your heart is at peace and you stop wanting things. When there is no more emptiness because you don’t need anything else but the present moment. The more you want something, the more the desire increases and the feeling of emptiness keeps growing.

Happiness takes practice. We need to unlearn our unhealthy patterns, that blind us from all the good things we have in life.

These are a few things you can do to be happy:

Be grateful: Just look around, look at the people that truly love you, look at all the good things you have in your life.

Be proud of yourself: Because you are amazing, you are making your life in your special way. and you are waking up every day to a new beginning, and even when the times are hard, you keep going. That takes courage and perseverance.

Have fun!: That is rule number one, always have fun doing what you are doing, have fun cleaning your house, have fun eating your lunch, have fun in life. If you enjoy your life, chances are that you will end up with a big smile at the end of the day.

Let go of what hurts: You need a light heart to be happy. There are many things that hurt us, situations, people, memories. If it is in the past, close that circle, and let is stay in the past, if it is something that you can change, change it; if you cannot change it, accept it and bless the learning experience, close that chapter. Close it with love. So you can walk free, so you can walk with a heart ready to love.

Happiness is different for everybody, so find what makes you happy.
